Tax Timeline 2025

Tax Return Start Date
You can start tax return from 1 July 2025 however it is best to wait for a week, this is to ensure your data is available to the ATO.

Deadline
The deadline to lodge the 2025 tax return is 31 Oct 2025. All your returns must be lodged before the due date failure to do may incur an administrative penalty from the Australian Taxation Office. If you are with the tax agent you may lodge your tax return by 15 May 2025.

BAS / GST Deadline
If you are doing ridesharing you must lodge your BAS quarter April to June 2025 before 25 August 2025.

Recommended if you are looking for a patient, calm, empathetic and approachable tax agent. Hanan was very supportive and our discussions were very insightful! Won't give you false hopes that your tax would be drastically reduced though. At the end of the day the tax payable depends on how much one owes to ATO and how much was withheld. However, they do the best they can within legal permissible limits, which is safe for both you and your tax agent.
